Monday, I had contacted Hostgator about the “Error. Page cannot be displayed. Please contact your service provider for more details.” message that is appearing on all my account domains.
Supposedly this was an SSL Certificate issue, and they reset all the SSL Certificates. The issue was supposed to be resolved within 24 hours. Tuesday when it was still not resolved I contacted technical support again. This time I was told that this was a name server issue because some of the domains were still on legacy name servers. They redirected all the NS to the correct DNS names. This is still ongoing and once this cycle of updates completes, they must go back and reset all the SSL Certificates again. My email was also impacted and was not working until yesterday afternoon.
They did open a support ticket, and I have requested that they check that all the domains are back up before notifying me that the issue is resolved along with an explanation of why the domains became inaccessible. I was not provided with a resolution estimate. Once I can access the bbn-net.com site I will be extending all memberships again to compensate for this abrupt interruption of service through to January 1, 2027.
